The likelihood and severity of adhesions vary depending on the type of surgical procedure, the surgical site, and the patient’s condition. Postoperative adhesions may cause pain, discomfort, and other complications. Therefore, selecting an anti-adhesion product that is appropriate to the surgical procedure, severity of adhesions, and surgical site is essential. The selected material should possess excellent biocompatibility and be capable of covering the surfaces of  all damaged tissues or organs. This barrier helps to separate injured tissues or organs and remains in place until it is naturally resorbed and metabolized by the body.
